Although Newquay is most well-known for its surfing, the town also offers a wide range of other water sports, activities, and pastimes offered by reputable businesses and instructors.

Activities on land, in the air, and even on the sea can all be found in Newquay. There are activity centers at many of our beaches and the harbor where you can do a wide range of sea, beach, and cliff activities all in one place. You can fish in the ocean, go snorkeling, dive, and take great boat trips to see the local marine life. In addition to the Gannel Estuary, Trenance Boating Lake, water & aqua parks, and a FlowRider, our coastline is well-known for its clear waters. In fact, you won’t find many water-based activities outside of Newquay!

On dry land, there is no less to do. A go-kart track in St. Eval, not far from Newquay, features everything from cub juniors to 70-mph speed machines. Segway rides, pony trekking, horseback riding, or simply enjoying a stroll along the stunning coast path are all options. There are pitch-and-putt, crazy golf, golf driving range, and golf courses.
